Ryan Kolegar has spent his entire adult life serving the public in Law Enforcement. As Ohio’s first Corrections Inspector General, Ryan built a reputation for Integrity, Accountability and professionalism. He isn’t a politician, he’s a public servant committed to bringing transparency, efficiency, and common sense leadership back to Brunswick Hills.

Over the course of his career Ryan has held the positions of Auxiliary Patrolman with the Parma Police Department, Juvenile Corrections Officer with the Medina County Juvenile Detention Center, Corrections Officer, Corrections Sergeant, and Deputy Sheriff with the Medina County Sheriff’s Office. He is currently appointed as the Corrections Inspector General for the Lorain County Sheriff’s Office.

Ryan has an associate’s degree in criminal justice from Eastern Gateway Community College, is a certified Inspector General through the Association of Inspector’s General and is a commissioned peace officer.
